A shirt for the best hour of the day

There is a stretch of every clear evening when the light goes soft and warm and everything looks better than it did an hour earlier. Most people catch it through a window on the way to something else. The Afterglow button shirt was made for the people who arranged their life to be standing outside in it.

The Afterglow print takes its name from the light that arrives after the sun has already gone down, when the sky holds colour for another twenty minutes and nobody is in a hurry. Large soft edged shapes overlap across the fabric in burnt orange, slate navy, dusty lavender, sage green and warm cream. Nothing lines up on a grid. The forms lean into each other the way clouds and hills and water do at the end of a clear day, and a fine grain runs through every colour so the whole thing reads more like a pressed print than a digital file.

Cut and fit

This is a camp collar shirt, which means the collar lies flat and open at the neck with no top button fighting you. The body is cut relaxed and boxy so it hangs away from the chest rather than clinging, and the short sleeves finish around mid bicep. It is a unisex cut, so it sits easy on most frames. Wear it fully buttoned for a cleaner line, or open over a plain tee, which is how most people end up wearing it.

Fabric

The fabric is a featherlight woven made from recycled polyester, chosen because it moves air and dries fast. On a hot afternoon it does not stick. In the evening it does not weigh anything. The all-over print is applied across the whole panel before the shirt is cut and sewn, which is why the pattern runs unbroken over the shoulder seams and down the sleeves instead of stopping at the edges like a placed graphic would.

  • Camp collar that lies flat and open at the neck
  • Relaxed boxy body with short sleeves finishing at mid bicep
  • Featherlight woven recycled polyester that breathes and dries quickly
  • All-over print applied before cutting, so the pattern runs continuously across seams
  • Matte black buttons down the front placket
  • Unisex sizing that works across a wide range of frames
  • Moisture wicking, which keeps it comfortable in real heat
  • Made to order in small numbers, so nothing is produced to sit in a warehouse
  • Machine washable cold, hang to dry to keep the colours deep

How to wear it

Open over a cream or white tee with light trousers is the easiest version and the one that photographs well. Buttoned up with dark denim reads sharper and works for dinner. It also does the job a light jacket usually does on a summer evening, which makes it useful for travel, because it packs down to almost nothing and does not crease into a mess in a bag.

Care

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colours. Hang to dry rather than tumbling, which keeps the print saturated and the fabric from going limp. No bleach. If it needs pressing, use a cool iron on the reverse. Treated this way the colours hold for years rather than fading after a season.

Sizing

The shirt runs true to size with a deliberately relaxed body, so take your normal size if you want the intended fit. If you prefer a closer line through the chest and shoulders, size down one. If you plan to wear it open as a layer over a tee, or you simply like more room, size up one and it reads as an overshirt. The camp collar sits the same regardless of size, and the sleeve length changes very little between sizes because the cut is designed to finish at mid bicep across the range.

Questions people ask

Is it see through? No. The fabric is light but woven densely enough that it is not sheer, including in the cream sections of the print. Does the pattern match at the placket? The panels are cut from a continuously printed length, so the print is continuous across the garment but the two sides of the front opening are not mirror matched, which is normal for this construction and part of why every shirt is slightly different. Will it wrinkle in a suitcase? Very little. It is one of the few printed shirts that comes out of a bag ready to wear, which is the main reason it travels well.

Who it is for

People who want one memorable piece rather than ten forgettable ones. It suits anyone whose evenings are their own, whether that is because of how they arranged their work or simply because they protect the hours after it. If your wardrobe is mostly plain and you have been looking for the single item that makes an outfit without any effort, this is built to be that item.

Why it is made this way

Every NO.925 piece is made to order. Nothing is printed in bulk and stored, so there is no pile of unsold shirts waiting to be discounted or destroyed. It means waiting a few days longer than you would for something already sitting on a shelf. It also means the thing that arrives was made because you asked for it, and 10 percent of profit goes to the organisations we support.

Sustainable Apparel FAQ

What makes No 925 apparel different from typical clothing brands?

No 925 apparel is built around a simple idea: clothing should represent how you choose to live, not just what you wear. Our designs focus on intention, independence, and rejecting autopilot living. Every piece is created to be wearable daily while carrying a message that resonates with people building a life they don’t need to escape from.

How long does shipping take?

Orders go through a production window of 2-5 business days before they ship. After that, delivery time depends on your location and the method you choose at checkout. You will receive tracking once your order is on its way. If you have a timing concern, contact info@no925.co before placing your order.

How do I choose the right size for No 925 apparel?

Every No 925 product page includes a detailed size guide to help you find the best fit. Because our catalog includes multiple apparel styles such as shirts, hoodies, and accessories, sizing can vary slightly between items. We always recommend reviewing the size chart provided on the product page and comparing it to a garment you already own that fits well.

What is Project 925 and how does it work?

Project 925 is the philanthropic arm of No 925. Each month, a portion of profits is directed toward a vetted nonprofit organization aligned with the brand’s values. Causes often include mental health support, environmental protection, and veteran assistance, helping turn everyday purchases into real-world impact.

Why does No 925 use made-to-order production instead of mass manufacturing?

Made-to-order production allows us to reduce unnecessary waste while maintaining flexibility in our designs. Rather than producing thousands of garments that may never be worn, we manufacture items as they are purchased. This approach supports sustainability while allowing No 925 to focus on thoughtful design rather than fast fashion.

What is Project 925?

Project 925 is No. 925's giving initiative. Ten percent of monthly profits go to a vetted local or regional nonprofit, rotated monthly. We choose organizations where the contribution will actually be felt, not absorbed into administrative overhead. When you buy from No. 925, a portion of that purchase moves something real in the world.

Does No 925 clothing support any charitable initiatives?

Yes. Through Project 925, a portion of profits supports organizations doing meaningful work in areas like mental health, environmental conservation, and veteran support. Each month a new cause may be featured, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to living with intention and helping others rise.

What type of people typically wear No 925 apparel?

No 925 apparel resonates with people who value independence, creativity, and intentional living. Many customers are entrepreneurs, builders, creators, and individuals pursuing a lifestyle outside traditional expectations. The brand attracts those who believe life should be designed deliberately rather than lived by default.

Can No 925 clothing be worn casually or styled for streetwear?

Yes. No 925 apparel is designed to fit naturally into both casual and modern streetwear styles. Many of the designs combine minimal aesthetics with bold messaging, making them easy to pair with everyday outfits while still making a statement.
