For when the light goes and the temperature follows

The same evening the Afterglow print is named for tends to get cold about an hour after it starts. This is the piece you put on at that point and end up wearing for the rest of the night.

The Afterglow print takes its name from the light that arrives after the sun has already gone down, when the sky holds colour for another twenty minutes and nobody is in a hurry. Large soft edged shapes overlap across the fabric in burnt orange, slate navy, dusty lavender, sage green and warm cream. Nothing lines up on a grid. The forms lean into each other the way clouds and hills and water do at the end of a clear day, and a fine grain runs through every colour so the whole thing reads more like a pressed print than a digital file.

Cut and fit

A unisex crew neck pullover with a relaxed body, ribbed cuffs and hem, and set-in sleeves. It is roomy enough to layer over a tee without pulling, and the ribbing at the wrists and waist keeps warm air where you want it. Each one is precision cut and hand sewn, which is what keeps the pattern lining up across the panels.

Fabric

Recycled polyester with elastane, built with a cotton-feel face and a soft brushed fleece interior. The outside takes the print cleanly and the inside is genuinely warm without being heavy. It is the combination that makes a sweatshirt worth keeping for years instead of one season, because it neither pills up nor goes flat after a dozen washes.

  • Unisex crew neck pullover with a relaxed body
  • Ribbed cuffs and hem that hold warmth in
  • Cotton-feel outer face with soft brushed fleece inside
  • Recycled polyester with elastane for durability and give
  • Precision cut and hand sewn so the pattern aligns across panels
  • All-over print with no blank panels front or back
  • Warm without being heavy, so it layers under a jacket
  • Made to order in small numbers
  • Machine washable cold, hang to dry

How to wear it

Over a plain tee with jeans is the default and it is hard to improve on. Layered under a plain jacket in colder weather, with just the cuffs and collar showing colour. It also works as the single interesting item in an otherwise plain outfit, which is most of what a good sweatshirt is for.

Care

Machine wash cold, inside out. Hang to dry, because a tumble dryer is what flattens brushed fleece and dulls a print faster than anything else. No bleach, no fabric softener. It should not need ironing.

Sizing

Unisex sizing, true to size, cut with a relaxed body. Take your normal size for the fit shown. Size up one if you want a noticeably oversized shape or you plan to wear it over a hoodie. People who prefer a trimmer sweatshirt can size down one without the sleeves becoming short, because the sleeve is generously cut across the range. Ribbing at the cuff and hem means a larger size still holds its shape rather than hanging shapeless.

Why it is cut and sewn rather than printed on a blank

A printed blank sweatshirt has the design stamped onto a finished garment, which leaves plain fabric under the arms, across the back, and anywhere the printer could not reach. This one is built the other way around. The fabric is printed first, then the panels are cut from it and hand sewn together, so the pattern is present on every surface including the sleeves and the underarm. It is slower and more expensive to make, and it is the only way to get a print that genuinely wraps the whole garment.

Questions people ask

Is it warm enough for winter? On its own it handles cool evenings and mild days. In real cold it works as a mid layer under a jacket, which is what the brushed fleece interior is designed for. Does the fleece flatten over time? Not if you keep it out of the tumble dryer. Heat is what breaks down brushed fleece. Does the print align exactly across the seams? The panels are cut from a continuous printed length so the pattern flows, but it is not seam matched shape for shape, and each piece is slightly different.

Who it is for

The person who reaches for the same sweatshirt every evening and would rather that sweatshirt be worth looking at. It suits anyone who spends the end of the day outdoors, on a porch, a deck, a campsite or a walk, and wants one warm layer that carries some colour into the part of the year when everything else goes grey.

Why it is made this way

Cut and sewn to order rather than produced in bulk and warehoused. Nothing is made speculatively, so nothing ends up marked down or discarded at the end of a season. Ten percent of profit goes to the organisations we support.

Sustainable Apparel FAQ

What makes No 925 apparel different from typical clothing brands?

No 925 apparel is built around a simple idea: clothing should represent how you choose to live, not just what you wear. Our designs focus on intention, independence, and rejecting autopilot living. Every piece is created to be wearable daily while carrying a message that resonates with people building a life they don’t need to escape from.

How long does shipping take?

Orders go through a production window of 2-5 business days before they ship. After that, delivery time depends on your location and the method you choose at checkout. You will receive tracking once your order is on its way. If you have a timing concern, contact info@no925.co before placing your order.

How do I choose the right size for No 925 apparel?

Every No 925 product page includes a detailed size guide to help you find the best fit. Because our catalog includes multiple apparel styles such as shirts, hoodies, and accessories, sizing can vary slightly between items. We always recommend reviewing the size chart provided on the product page and comparing it to a garment you already own that fits well.

What is Project 925 and how does it work?

Project 925 is the philanthropic arm of No 925. Each month, a portion of profits is directed toward a vetted nonprofit organization aligned with the brand’s values. Causes often include mental health support, environmental protection, and veteran assistance, helping turn everyday purchases into real-world impact.

Why does No 925 use made-to-order production instead of mass manufacturing?

Made-to-order production allows us to reduce unnecessary waste while maintaining flexibility in our designs. Rather than producing thousands of garments that may never be worn, we manufacture items as they are purchased. This approach supports sustainability while allowing No 925 to focus on thoughtful design rather than fast fashion.

What is Project 925?

Project 925 is No. 925's giving initiative. Ten percent of monthly profits go to a vetted local or regional nonprofit, rotated monthly. We choose organizations where the contribution will actually be felt, not absorbed into administrative overhead. When you buy from No. 925, a portion of that purchase moves something real in the world.

Does No 925 clothing support any charitable initiatives?

Yes. Through Project 925, a portion of profits supports organizations doing meaningful work in areas like mental health, environmental conservation, and veteran support. Each month a new cause may be featured, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to living with intention and helping others rise.

What type of people typically wear No 925 apparel?

No 925 apparel resonates with people who value independence, creativity, and intentional living. Many customers are entrepreneurs, builders, creators, and individuals pursuing a lifestyle outside traditional expectations. The brand attracts those who believe life should be designed deliberately rather than lived by default.

Can No 925 clothing be worn casually or styled for streetwear?

Yes. No 925 apparel is designed to fit naturally into both casual and modern streetwear styles. Many of the designs combine minimal aesthetics with bold messaging, making them easy to pair with everyday outfits while still making a statement.
