The Life Past Five t-shirt is a type-led piece. LIFE sits large in a bold slab face with PAST FIVE beneath it, and a radiating sunburst spreads out behind the whole lockup. It is a single-ink graphic tee about the part of the day that actually belongs to you.

The Message

Five o'clock is an arbitrary line somebody drew a long time ago, and most people have organised their entire life around it without ever questioning who decided. The idea here is not that work is the enemy. It is that the hours after it are the ones you get to spend on your own terms, and that they are worth naming. NO.925 has always been more interested in what people do with unclaimed time than in complaining about the claimed part.

The Design

The design is a centred type lockup. LIFE is set large in a heavy slab serif with interior highlight lines, and PAST FIVE runs beneath it in spaced capitals on a rule. Behind both, a sunburst of straight rays radiates outward and fades before it reaches the edge of the print. A short row of vertical tick marks sits under the lockup as a base. One ink colour, centred on the front chest, no back print.

Where It Fits

A tee for the end of the day and the weekend either side of it. It suits a beer garden, a drive home with the windows down, a Friday that finished early. Because the message is about time rather than a place, it does not look out of context anywhere in particular.

How It Is Drawn

Drawn as single-ink display type with a sunburst behind it. The rays are kept straight and evenly weighted so they read as light rather than as a pattern, and they stop short of the lettering so nothing gets crowded. The slab face carries the interior highlight lines without them closing up at smaller print sizes.

Colorway

5 colorways are offered: Vintage Black, Team Purple, Olive, Pebble and Tan. Each one was chosen because the print holds up on it rather than to make the list longer. Heather colors carry a small amount of polyester, which gives a slightly textured, lived-in ground rather than a flat one. If you want the artwork at its highest contrast, take one of the lighter naturals. If you want it to sit back into the shirt, take one of the deeper shades.

Why It Is Made This Way

NO.925 does not hold stock. This tee is printed in the size and color you pick once the order exists, which is why it takes a little longer to reach you than something already boxed somewhere. That trade is deliberate. Printing to order means no crate of unsold shirts in a size nobody wanted, and no decision to discount a design into the ground just to clear space. It also means the color you chose is the one that gets printed rather than the nearest thing still left in your size.

The same standard runs across everything here. One blank chosen because it wears well rather than because it was the cheapest available, artwork drawn for the garment instead of lifted from a stock library, and a print method matched to the design rather than applied to everything regardless. None of that is visible in a product photo, which is exactly why it is worth writing down. It is the difference between a shirt that still looks like itself after a winter of washing and one that goes thin and grey by February.

Why This T-Shirt Stands Out

  • Front graphic: LIFE in a heavy slab face over PAST FIVE, with a radiating sunburst behind
  • A statement about the hours after work rather than a complaint about the hours in it
  • Single-ink display type, centred on the chest, with no badge frame or border
  • 100% combed and ring-spun cotton, with heather colors containing polyester
  • Fabric weight 4.2 oz/yd2 (142 g/m2), light enough to layer and wear through summer
  • Pre-shrunk fabric, so the fit you get on day one is the fit you keep
  • Side-seamed construction with shoulder-to-shoulder taping for a shape that holds
  • Classic unisex cut, true to size, blank sourced from Nicaragua, Mexico, Honduras, or the US
  • Made to order rather than produced in bulk, so nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for someone who may never come

About the Message

Somebody picked five o'clock. It was not you. What happens after it, though, mostly is.

Every piece is made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for someone who may never come.

Fit

This is a classic unisex cut that runs true to size. If you prefer a looser drape through the body, size up one. The shoulder seams sit where they should on most frames and the length is standard rather than cropped or long. Check the size chart if you are between sizes rather than guessing from another brand.

The day does not end when the work does. That is the part worth keeping.

Sustainable Apparel FAQ

What makes No 925 apparel different from typical clothing brands?

No 925 apparel is built around a simple idea: clothing should represent how you choose to live, not just what you wear. Our designs focus on intention, independence, and rejecting autopilot living. Every piece is created to be wearable daily while carrying a message that resonates with people building a life they don’t need to escape from.

How long does shipping take?

Orders go through a production window of 2-5 business days before they ship. After that, delivery time depends on your location and the method you choose at checkout. You will receive tracking once your order is on its way. If you have a timing concern, contact info@no925.co before placing your order.

How do I choose the right size for No 925 apparel?

Every No 925 product page includes a detailed size guide to help you find the best fit. Because our catalog includes multiple apparel styles such as shirts, hoodies, and accessories, sizing can vary slightly between items. We always recommend reviewing the size chart provided on the product page and comparing it to a garment you already own that fits well.

What is Project 925 and how does it work?

Project 925 is the philanthropic arm of No 925. Each month, a portion of profits is directed toward a vetted nonprofit organization aligned with the brand’s values. Causes often include mental health support, environmental protection, and veteran assistance, helping turn everyday purchases into real-world impact.

Why does No 925 use made-to-order production instead of mass manufacturing?

Made-to-order production allows us to reduce unnecessary waste while maintaining flexibility in our designs. Rather than producing thousands of garments that may never be worn, we manufacture items as they are purchased. This approach supports sustainability while allowing No 925 to focus on thoughtful design rather than fast fashion.

What is Project 925?

Project 925 is No. 925's giving initiative. Ten percent of monthly profits go to a vetted local or regional nonprofit, rotated monthly. We choose organizations where the contribution will actually be felt, not absorbed into administrative overhead. When you buy from No. 925, a portion of that purchase moves something real in the world.

Does No 925 clothing support any charitable initiatives?

Yes. Through Project 925, a portion of profits supports organizations doing meaningful work in areas like mental health, environmental conservation, and veteran support. Each month a new cause may be featured, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to living with intention and helping others rise.

What type of people typically wear No 925 apparel?

No 925 apparel resonates with people who value independence, creativity, and intentional living. Many customers are entrepreneurs, builders, creators, and individuals pursuing a lifestyle outside traditional expectations. The brand attracts those who believe life should be designed deliberately rather than lived by default.

Can No 925 clothing be worn casually or styled for streetwear?

Yes. No 925 apparel is designed to fit naturally into both casual and modern streetwear styles. Many of the designs combine minimal aesthetics with bold messaging, making them easy to pair with everyday outfits while still making a statement.
