System Optional is the two-word version of a decision plenty of people have already made quietly. The default setup, the hours somebody else drew, the route everyone agreed on without ever discussing it, all of it turns out to be a setting rather than a law. Once you see it that way you cannot unsee it.

The System Optional Unisex T-Shirt says one thing and says it once, which is the whole approach here. Nothing on this piece is decoration for its own sake.

What the graphic says

The print is SYSTEM OPTIONAL set in tall condensed cream capitals, with a band of gold static tearing horizontally through the middle of the words so the letterforms break apart and reassemble across the gap. The gold NO.925 mark sits alone below the collar on the back. The static is the point. It sits exactly where the word breaks, which is what happens to a system the moment somebody stops treating it as permanent. NO.925 exists for people who already left the default schedule behind, so the message speaks from that side of the decision rather than arguing for it. You are not being sold a dream. You are being handed something to wear on a day you already chose.

Fabric and construction

Built from 100% combed and ring-spun cotton at a lightweight 4.2 oz per square yard, 142 grams per square metre, pre-shrunk with side-seamed construction and shoulder-to-shoulder taping. The materials were chosen so the piece survives being worn constantly rather than saved for occasions, because a garment you protect is a garment you do not use.

Fit

True to size with a classic unisex fit. The pre-shrunk fabric means the size you order is the size you keep.

How to wear it

The palette runs dark and earthy, from Black Heather and Asphalt through the olives and greens to Heather Deep Teal, so the cream type and gold static carry every colourway without shouting. It reads well under an open flannel and just as well on its own once the sun is up.

Care

Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colours. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Skip the fabric softener if you want to keep the print surface clean, and do not iron directly over the graphic. These are small steps and they are the difference between a tee that lasts one season and one that lasts several.

Made to order

Every tee is produced after the order is placed. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for someone who may never arrive, which means no overproduction and no end-of-season landfill run. Production usually takes 2 to 5 business days before the piece ships. That window is the honest cost of making things only when they are wanted.

Project 925

10% of net profit goes to a vetted nonprofit doing direct, hands-on work. Causes rotate monthly across mental health, environment, veterans and community. The nonprofits are researched individually and chosen on purpose. This is not a checkout round-up and it is not a badge on a banner. It is built into how the business runs.

Who it is for

This is for the person who already made the call. Someone who moved their desk to a window, or a different time zone, or a schedule nobody else signed off on. The message is not aspirational and it is not a plan for later. It is a description of a decision that already happened, which is why it works as something to wear rather than something to hang on a wall. If you are still deciding, that is fine too, but this piece will read differently once you have.

Sizing

This one is currently made in a single size, XL, in every colourway. True to size with a classic unisex fit. The pre-shrunk fabric means the size you order is the size you keep. The measurements on the size guide are the number to trust over the letter on the label, so check the chest and length against a shirt you already like before ordering. If XL is not your size, the same message runs on other pieces in the collection.

Questions

Does it shrink? Wash cold and dry low and it holds its size. The construction is chosen to keep the fit consistent rather than to survive one wash and then give up.

Is the sizing unisex? Yes. True to size with a classic unisex fit. The pre-shrunk fabric means the size you order is the size you keep. The cut is the same regardless of who is wearing it, so go by the measurements rather than the label.

Why is the lettering broken? On purpose. The gold band runs straight through the middle of the words so the type fractures and picks itself back up on the other side. Up close it reads as static. From across a room it reads as two words.

How long until it arrives? Production runs 2 to 5 business days, then shipping time depends on where you are. Tracking is emailed as soon as the piece leaves.

Will the print crack? Not with normal care. Wash it inside out, skip the fabric softener, and keep a hot iron off the graphic. The print is applied to last as long as the fabric underneath it, and the two are meant to age together.

Can I return it if the fit is wrong? Returns and exchanges follow the policy on the refund policy page. Because every piece is made to order, checking the size guide before you order is the fastest route to the right fit.

Sustainable Apparel FAQ

What makes No 925 apparel different from typical clothing brands?

No 925 apparel is built around a simple idea: clothing should represent how you choose to live, not just what you wear. Our designs focus on intention, independence, and rejecting autopilot living. Every piece is created to be wearable daily while carrying a message that resonates with people building a life they don’t need to escape from.

How long does shipping take?

Orders go through a production window of 2-5 business days before they ship. After that, delivery time depends on your location and the method you choose at checkout. You will receive tracking once your order is on its way. If you have a timing concern, contact info@no925.co before placing your order.

How do I choose the right size for No 925 apparel?

Every No 925 product page includes a detailed size guide to help you find the best fit. Because our catalog includes multiple apparel styles such as shirts, hoodies, and accessories, sizing can vary slightly between items. We always recommend reviewing the size chart provided on the product page and comparing it to a garment you already own that fits well.

What is Project 925 and how does it work?

Project 925 is the philanthropic arm of No 925. Each month, a portion of profits is directed toward a vetted nonprofit organization aligned with the brand’s values. Causes often include mental health support, environmental protection, and veteran assistance, helping turn everyday purchases into real-world impact.

Why does No 925 use made-to-order production instead of mass manufacturing?

Made-to-order production allows us to reduce unnecessary waste while maintaining flexibility in our designs. Rather than producing thousands of garments that may never be worn, we manufacture items as they are purchased. This approach supports sustainability while allowing No 925 to focus on thoughtful design rather than fast fashion.

What is Project 925?

Project 925 is No. 925's giving initiative. Ten percent of monthly profits go to a vetted local or regional nonprofit, rotated monthly. We choose organizations where the contribution will actually be felt, not absorbed into administrative overhead. When you buy from No. 925, a portion of that purchase moves something real in the world.

Does No 925 clothing support any charitable initiatives?

Yes. Through Project 925, a portion of profits supports organizations doing meaningful work in areas like mental health, environmental conservation, and veteran support. Each month a new cause may be featured, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to living with intention and helping others rise.

What type of people typically wear No 925 apparel?

No 925 apparel resonates with people who value independence, creativity, and intentional living. Many customers are entrepreneurs, builders, creators, and individuals pursuing a lifestyle outside traditional expectations. The brand attracts those who believe life should be designed deliberately rather than lived by default.

Can No 925 clothing be worn casually or styled for streetwear?

Yes. No 925 apparel is designed to fit naturally into both casual and modern streetwear styles. Many of the designs combine minimal aesthetics with bold messaging, making them easy to pair with everyday outfits while still making a statement.
