The Design

The design is a stacked type lockup. TIME, WELL and SPENT sit on three lines in a heavy display face where the letterforms warp and thicken, so the block reads almost as a single poured shape. Behind it, fine topographic contour lines run horizontally and give the block something to sit against. One ink colour, centred and large on the front chest. There is no back print.

Where It Fits

This is the loudest of the type pieces, so it carries a plain outfit on its own. It works for a weekend, a festival, a long drive or any day where the shirt is doing the talking. The stacked block fills the chest, so it is better worn open than layered under something that cuts across it.

How It Is Drawn

Drawn as single-ink display type over a fine contour field. The warp in the letterforms is deliberate and consistent across all three words so it reads as one treatment rather than a distortion. The contour lines behind are kept light enough not to compete with the type.

Colorway

6 colorways are offered: Vintage Black, Navy, Olive, Pebble, Tan and Natural. Each one was chosen because the print holds up on it rather than to make the list longer. Heather colors carry a small amount of polyester, which gives a slightly textured, lived-in ground rather than a flat one. If you want the artwork at its highest contrast, take one of the lighter naturals. If you want it to sit back into the shirt, take one of the deeper shades.

NO.925 does not hold stock. This tee is printed in the size and color you pick once the order exists, which is why it takes a little longer to reach you than something already boxed somewhere.
