The Up to Something youth t-shirt is the one that describes the child wearing it. A grinning carved pumpkin sits behind heavy hand-painted lettering, leaves and small pumpkins tucked around the base, and the whole thing reads as a warning label for a kid with a plan. It is a Halloween youth graphic tee built on mischief rather than fright, which is the register most children actually want out of the season.

The message behind it

Every parent recognises the look. Up to something is not bad behaviour, it is initiative that has not been approved yet. NO.925 is a brand about doing things without waiting for permission, and this is that idea handed to a nine year old in the one month where being out in the dark is allowed. October gives kids licence to roam a little, and this design is about the version of them that takes it.

The design

The design centres on one carved pumpkin with a jagged toothy grin and slanted triangular eyes, rendered with brush texture and a curling green stem. Small clustered pumpkins and scattered leaves sit at the base on both sides. The words UP TO in smaller lettering and SOMETHING large below run across the lower half in chunky hand-painted brush type with rough dry edges, overlapping the pumpkin so the type and the illustration lock together as one shape. It prints on the front in orange, cream and olive with heavy dark outlines.

Where it gets worn

School through the whole of October, the class party, the pumpkin patch and the night itself. The design is bold and centred so it reads clearly from a distance in a group photo, which is where a lot of these shirts end up. It layers well under an open hoodie since the important part of the artwork sits in the middle of the chest. Siblings often end up in this one alongside one of the other pumpkin designs.

Colourways

The artwork is warm orange and cream over dark linework. On deeper and heathered grounds the pumpkin glows and the cream lettering carries the message. On lighter and warmer grounds the orange sits nearer the shirt colour, the design reads softer, and the dark outlines hold the shape together. In every case the grin stays the focal point, which is the part of this design that does the work.

Why it is made this way

Made to order, printed after the order is placed rather than before. Halloween is the single easiest category to overproduce, because it has a hard expiry date and a brand has to guess months ahead. Printing on demand removes the guess. Nothing gets discounted into oblivion in November and nothing gets binned, which is the practical version of a brand claiming to care about waste.

Why this youth tee stands out

  • A grinning carved pumpkin locked together with heavy hand-painted brush lettering
  • Built on mischief rather than fright, so it suits younger wearers and school settings
  • Bold centred composition that still reads clearly from a distance in group photos
  • 100% combed and ring-spun cotton, so the hand feel stays soft through repeated washing
  • Heather colours are 52% combed and ring-spun cotton with 48% polyester for a lived-in texture
  • Athletic Heather is 90% combed and ring-spun cotton with 10% polyester
  • Fabric weight of 4.2 oz/yd, light enough for all day wear without turning sheer
  • Pre-shrunk, side-seamed and finished with shoulder-to-shoulder taping to hold its shape
  • Made to order in the size and colourway you choose, so nothing is overproduced for the season

Fabric and construction

  • 100% combed and ring-spun cotton
  • Heather colours: 52% combed and ring-spun cotton, 48% polyester
  • Athletic Heather: 90% combed and ring-spun cotton, 10% polyester
  • Fabric weight: 4.2 oz/yd (142 g/m)
  • Pre-shrunk fabric
  • Side-seamed construction
  • Shoulder-to-shoulder taping

Heather colourways use a cotton and polyester blend, so they read slightly lighter and more textured than the solid colours. That is the nature of the blend, not a fault in the garment.

About the message

Up to something is what gets said about a child who has gone quiet in another room. The design takes that as a compliment. There is nothing frightening in it, just a pumpkin with a grin and lettering that looks hand-painted. It is a Halloween tee for the part of the season that is about getting away with a little more than usual.

Every piece is made to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for someone who may never come.

Fit

This youth tee runs true to size with a classic fit through the body and sleeve. If your child is between sizes, or you want room to grow into it across a season, size up. Check the size chart before ordering rather than guessing from another brand, since youth sizing varies more than adult sizing does.

Quiet child, lit pumpkin, dark evening. Something is definitely happening.

Sustainable Apparel FAQ

What makes No 925 apparel different from typical clothing brands?

No 925 apparel is built around a simple idea: clothing should represent how you choose to live, not just what you wear. Our designs focus on intention, independence, and rejecting autopilot living. Every piece is created to be wearable daily while carrying a message that resonates with people building a life they don’t need to escape from.

How long does shipping take?

Orders go through a production window of 2-5 business days before they ship. After that, delivery time depends on your location and the method you choose at checkout. You will receive tracking once your order is on its way. If you have a timing concern, contact info@no925.co before placing your order.

How do I choose the right size for No 925 apparel?

Every No 925 product page includes a detailed size guide to help you find the best fit. Because our catalog includes multiple apparel styles such as shirts, hoodies, and accessories, sizing can vary slightly between items. We always recommend reviewing the size chart provided on the product page and comparing it to a garment you already own that fits well.

What is Project 925 and how does it work?

Project 925 is the philanthropic arm of No 925. Each month, a portion of profits is directed toward a vetted nonprofit organization aligned with the brand’s values. Causes often include mental health support, environmental protection, and veteran assistance, helping turn everyday purchases into real-world impact.

Why does No 925 use made-to-order production instead of mass manufacturing?

Made-to-order production allows us to reduce unnecessary waste while maintaining flexibility in our designs. Rather than producing thousands of garments that may never be worn, we manufacture items as they are purchased. This approach supports sustainability while allowing No 925 to focus on thoughtful design rather than fast fashion.

What is Project 925?

Project 925 is No. 925's giving initiative. Ten percent of monthly profits go to a vetted local or regional nonprofit, rotated monthly. We choose organizations where the contribution will actually be felt, not absorbed into administrative overhead. When you buy from No. 925, a portion of that purchase moves something real in the world.

Does No 925 clothing support any charitable initiatives?

Yes. Through Project 925, a portion of profits supports organizations doing meaningful work in areas like mental health, environmental conservation, and veteran support. Each month a new cause may be featured, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to living with intention and helping others rise.

What type of people typically wear No 925 apparel?

No 925 apparel resonates with people who value independence, creativity, and intentional living. Many customers are entrepreneurs, builders, creators, and individuals pursuing a lifestyle outside traditional expectations. The brand attracts those who believe life should be designed deliberately rather than lived by default.

Can No 925 clothing be worn casually or styled for streetwear?

Yes. No 925 apparel is designed to fit naturally into both casual and modern streetwear styles. Many of the designs combine minimal aesthetics with bold messaging, making them easy to pair with everyday outfits while still making a statement.
